Big Ten Conference Unveils 2026 Softball Schedule

The 2025 softball season just wrapped up, but that doesn't mean it's too early to start thinking about next year.
Early Monday afternoon, the Big Ten released its 2026 conference slate.
The Big Ten is coming off an impressive year where it sent eight teams to the NCAA tournament, with new members Oregon and UCLA making it to the Women's College World Series.
Schools have released their individual conference schedules.
Nebraska:
Nebraska is coming off one of its best seasons in program history. They finished at 43-15 overall and made it to the NCAA Super Regionals for the first time since 2014, just one win shy of advancing to OKC.

Oregon
Oregon went 51-10 in 2025 which was the second most wins in program history. The Ducks took home the Big Ten tournament title in their first year in the conference and made it all the way to the WCWS.

Minnesota:
It was a tough year for the Gophers as they ended their season at 20-30. Minnesota had a conference record of 5-17 and failed to reach the postseason.

Northwestern
Northwestern had another great year as they are usually are near the top in the Big Ten each season. In 2025 they were 30-20 overall, but they had a subpar post season run going 0-3 in both the conference and NCAA tournament.

Iowa
Iowa finished at 35-18 overall falling to Penn State in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament. Despite their strong season, the Hawkeyes have had many plays enters the transfer portal and will look to gain some more additions in the off season.

Illinois
The Illini struggled in 2025 finishing at 22-28 overall. A 6-15 record in Big Ten play kept them out of the Big Ten Tournament.
